Mob Filter Mod (1.21.7, 1.20.1) is designed to give players greater control over mob spawning in their worlds. By using it, you can create safe zones, prevent specific mobs from spawning, and set detailed conditions for mob spawning based on biomes, times, or light levels.

Features:

  • Define rules in a config file (mobfilter.yml or .json5) to allow or deny mob spawns based on conditions like:
    • Mob Type (e.g., creepers, zombies)
    • Biome or Dimension
    • Block Coordinates
    • Time of Day
    • Light Level
    • Moon Phase
  • Prevent hostile mobs from spawning in specific areas—perfect for bases, towns, or adventure maps.
  • Completely block certain mobs from ever spawning (e.g., /mobfilter creeper deny).
  • For example, stop squids from spawning in rivers but allow them in oceans.
  • Combine multiple conditions in a single rule for precise control.
