Configurable Mob Potion Effects Mod (1.21.7, 1.20.1) is a powerful server-side Minecraft mod that lets you assign custom potion effects to any mob—either permanently or when they deal damage.

Features:

  • Give any mob a constant potion effect (e.g. speed, strength, invisibility).
  • Configure mobs to inflict potion effects on players or other entities when they attack.
  • The mod does nothing until configured—you have full control.
  • Configuration System:
    • Two config files:
      • permanenteffects.txt: Assign permanent effects to mobs.
      • ondamageeffects.txt: Define effects mobs apply when damaging others.
    • Located in ./config/configurablemobpotioneffects/
    • Config files auto-generate with all available entities and effects set to level 0 by default.
    • Use /cmpe reload to apply changes without restarting the game.
    • Examples:
      • Make slimes super fast with Speed level 50.
      • Let endermites inflict Levitation for 1 second on hit.
      • Give zombies Speed 5 and Poison 2 on attack.
