Disenchanter Mod lets you take enchantments off your items and transfer them to books. This is perfect for saving a good enchantment from a weak item or removing a bad one from a powerful weapon. You can control which enchantments are recovered by using different items as catalysts.

Features:

  • Adds a Disenchanter block for recovering enchantments from items onto books.
  • Use different catalyst items to get different results when disenchanting.
  • An Amethyst Shard recovers the first enchantment and saves the item.
  • A Diamond recovers the first enchantment and two random ones.
  • An Emerald recovers two random enchantments.
  • An Ender Pearl recovers one random enchantment and saves the item, but deals 500 durability damage to it.
  • An Experience Bottle recovers all enchantments that are at the same level as the highest one.
  • A Heart Of The Sea recovers all enchantments but reduces their level by one.
  • A Nether Star recovers all enchantments and saves the item.
  • Using the block without a catalyst will recover the first enchantment but destroy the item.

How to Use:

  1. Craft and place the Disenchanter block in the world.
  2. Right-click the block to open its menu.
  3. Put the enchanted item you want to disenchant in the leftmost slot.
  4. Place a book in the rightmost slot to receive the enchantment.
  5. You can optionally place a catalyst in the center slot to change which enchantments are recovered.
