Old Villagers Plus Addon (1.20) reintroduces the classic villagers and their familiar villages, while also introducing new features. Alongside the old villagers, it brings back the ruby, a mineral that was initially planned but later replaced by the emerald. With jade, you can engage in trade with these villagers. Additionally, the addon includes the long-lost zombie villagers, who were inexplicably absent from the game until now.
Features:
Old Villagers
- Butcher: He is the old butcher, he offers the old trades. He can also be a leatherworker.
- Carpenter: He is the villager in the blue tunic, he makes exchanges for wooden objects, and colored woods.
- Elegant Wandering Trader: It is one of the wandering trader designs that were not used, it makes exchanges for rare blocks to get. When taking damage it can drink regeneration potions, and when fleeing from mobs it can drink speed potions.
- Farmer: He is the old farmer, he offers the old trades. He can also be a shepherd, fisherman, or fletcher.
- Generic: is a villager skin that was dropped for version 1.14. Does not offer trade, only inhabits the villages.
- Librarian: He is the old librarian, he offers the old trades. He can also be a cartographer.
- Mysterious Merchant: This villager with an emerald on his forehead trades for rare items, he can offer you unique items, such as lingering potions, runes of time, and ancient totems undying.
- Nitwit: The old villager nitwit, does not offer trades.
- Villager Steve: a texture that was used as a base to create the villagers, but it was modified to look good, exchange jades for golden apples, they can even be enchanted!
- Old Wandering Trader: Another texture that was discarded, offers the same exchanges as the original wandering trader only instead of emeralds it will be for rubies. Spawn next to a mule.
- Cleric: He is the old cleric, he offers the old trades.
- Blacksmith: He is the old blacksmith, he offers the old trades. He can be armorer, weaponsmith, or toolsmith.
Items:
- Jade: you can get it for the mineral, or trading with villagers.
- Ice Wand: you can get it by killing iceologer. It is a staff that shoots ice cubes or iceballs that explode and slow down enemies.
- Gravity Wand: you can get it by killing mage. It is a wand that shoots magic cubes that explode and levitates enemies.
- Vindicator Axe: you can get it by killing elder evoker. A mighty axe, which deals 7 damage, can chop down wood, and summons vindicator villagers.
- Vindicator Villager: a villager who uses an axe, kills monsters, and defends villagers.
- Magic Costume: you can get it by killing Magician Supreme. A costume that provides few points of protection, however it gives immunity to fire, poison and gives slow fall. You must equip it on the chestplate.
- Old Totem of Undying: you can get it by killing Magician Supreme or elder evoker. You use it with the right click, when using it it heals you for all your life in addition to increasing your maximum health by 28 and providing resistance for 2 minutes.
- Rune of Time: you can get it by killing magician supreme or elder evoker. You use it with right click, when using it slows down all entities except players for 5 seconds, the player who used it gains speed during that time.
- Emerald Armor and Tools: The armor provides greater resistance than iron but less than diamond, and its durability is greater than iron. The tools have a durability of 300, and their enchantment level is 13.
