Immersive Petroleum Mod (1.21.1, 1.20.1) – Power Your World with Oil
Immersive Petroleum Mod extends Immersive Engineering with oil, oil extraction, and oil processing. This addon lets you find underground oil reservoirs, build pumpjacks to get crude oil, and then refine it into useful materials. You can use a large distillation tower to turn crude oil into diesel, gasoline, and other valuable resources.

Features:
Key Machines
- Pumpjack: A multi-block structure that extracts Crude Oil from underground reservoirs.
- Distillation Tower: A large multi-block machine that processes Crude Oil into several different fluids.
- Portable Generator: A small, movable generator that runs on Gasoline to produce power.
Resources & Items
- Find deep underground oil deposits using the Core Sample Drill.
- Refine Crude Oil to get Diesel, Gasoline, Lubricant, and Bitumen.
- Use Diesel to power generators as an alternative to Biodiesel.
- Apply Lubricant to speed up certain machines.
- Use Bitumen to craft decorative Asphalt blocks for roads.
- Drive a new Motorboat that is fueled by Gasoline.
How to Use:
- Use the Core Sample Drill to locate an oil deposit buried deep underground.
- Build a Pumpjack over the oil source to pump Crude Oil to the surface.
- Construct a Distillation Tower to heat the Crude Oil and separate it into new fluids.
- Use the produced Diesel, Gasoline, and Lubricant to power vehicles and machines.
- For more information, look in the Oil Processing section of the Engineer’s Manual.
