Spawn Animations Data Pack (1.21.11, 1.20.1) – Hostile Mobs Dig Out of The Ground

Spawn Animations Data Pack is a data pack that adds new animations to Minecraft! This data pack will make Hostile mobs dig out of the ground or poof into existence when they spawn. Works with many mobs, this data pack is designed to be as unintrusive as possible. Hidden entities including their worn armor and tools will only be invisible and silent. Enjoy playing this data pack!

Features:

• Hostile mobs dig out of the ground or poof into existence when they spawn.
• Works with: Zombies, Husks, Drowned, Skeletons, Strays, Bogged, Wither Skeletons, Spiders, Cave Spiders, Creepers, Endermen, Slimes, Magma Cubes, Zombified Piglins, Striders and Giants.
• This data pack/mod is designed to be as unintrusive as possible. Hidden entities including their worn armor and tools will only be invisible and silent.
• Spawn Animations is completely server-side!

Spawn Animations Settings Menu

Access via command: /trigger tschipcraft.menu or /function #tschipcraft:menu.
Settings can also be opened with: /function spawnanimations:settings.

• Activation Distance (Default: 20 blocks): Mobs within this range will play spawn animations.
• Activation Mode (Default: Classic):
  • Classic: Mobs remain hidden until a player is within range.
  • Vanilla: Mobs spawn normally without animation outside the range. Recommended setting: at least 25 blocks for natural mob spawn animations.
• Enable Poof Animation (Default: Yes): Displays a poof animation for mobs without suitable spawn blocks.
• Play Animation Sounds (Default: Yes): Enables sound effects during animations.
• Hide Worn Armor and Tools (Default: Yes): Stores armor and tools on a hidden entity. May affect drop rates; disable if using mob farms.
• Hide Emissive Mob Layers (Default: Yes): Hides emissive textures by shrinking hidden entities. Requires Pehkui for Minecraft 1.20.4 and below. May reduce mob farm efficiency.
• Reduce Hidden Enderman Particles (Default: Yes): Reduces Enderman particles when hidden. Requires Pehkui. May impact farm efficiency.
• Block Break Animation on Unsupported Blocks (Default: No): Plays break animation even on unsupported blocks. May cause unintended block updates and redstone issues.

Version Checker: Notifies players when using an unknown Minecraft version. Can be disabled with:
/scoreboard players set $global tvc_ignore 1
