Position your pointer (the plus sign) on the spruce leaves of the tree. You should see the block of spruce leaves become highlighted in your game window.

3. Use your Shears

Next, use the shears on the spruce leaves to cut them from the spruce tree.

The game control to use the shears on the spruce leaves depends on the version of Minecraft:

For Java Edition (PC/Mac), left click and hold on the spruce leaves.
For Pocket Edition (PE), you tap and hold on the spruce leaves.
