What Are They Up To Mod (1.21.11, 1.20.1) – What You’re Doing with Your Character

What Are They Up To Mod is a mod that displays what you’re doing through your character, letting other players see your actions – whether you’re typing in chat, checking your character’s inventory, opening a chest, or using the crafting area within your inventory.

The mod also adds a couple of interesting features. First, you can easily tell when a player has been inactive for more than 5 minutes – their character will appear to be sleeping while standing. Additionally, you can open the player list to see who is inactive, as those players will have a “zZ” symbol next to their name.

Features:

• Typing: Shows when a player is typing, both in the world and in GUI. The animation becomes faster and funnier the quicker they type.
• In GUI: Displays when a player is interacting with menus like the inventory, chest, or crafting table – showing their hand moving and clicking around a virtual screen.
• Idle: Indicates when a player has been inactive for over 5 minutes. Their character will appear to fall asleep, and a “Zz” icon will appear next to their name in the player list.

Configuration:

• Each feature can be individually disabled on the client side if you don’t want data sent to the server.
• Chat notifications for idle states are disabled by default.
