Better Block Entities Mod (26.1.2, 1.21.11) – Optimize Rendering To Increase FPS

Better Block Entities Mod is an optimization mod that improves FPS and performance when rendering block entities using a Hybrid Renderer mechanism. The mod retains the original animations of the block entities while optimizing the display to reduce rendering load.

Features:

• Better Block Entities optimizes the rendering of block entities by converting them to a “mesh” when inactive, reducing the GPU/CPU processing load while retaining the original animations.
• This mod supports optimization for many block entity types, such as chests (including the new metal chest), shulker boxes, signs, decorated pots, beds, bells, and plans for further expansion.
• You can configure each block entity individually through the config menu to enable/disable optimization for each block type if conflicts arise with other mods (e.g., EMF/ETF).
• Additional benefits include a longer viewing distance for block entities, similar to regular blocks, along with softer ambient occlusion/lighting, making the world look smoother and less laggy when multiple block entities are present.
• This mod retains the original animation (it doesn’t remove animation like some other optimization mods) and allows you to disable the feature if you don’t want to optimize each block individually.
