Vista Mod adds working televisions and security cameras to your world. It lets you set up a live video feed to watch different areas from the comfort of your base. You get to build massive TV screens by connecting blocks together. The mod also brings collectible video tapes that play fun animations on your screens. It gives you a brand new way to decorate your base and keep an eye on your surroundings.

Vista Mod

Features:

  • Remote Monitoring: Lets you set up a live camera feed to watch other parts of your world from a screen.
  • Connects multiple television blocks together to build one giant custom screen of any square size.
  • Adds a pause function when you sneak and click on the television screen.
  • Works with redstone parts like droppers and hoppers to swap tapes automatically.
  • Changes the camera view distance based on the strength of the redstone signal.

Televisions and Tapes:

  • Cassettes drop from creepers if a pillager arrow defeats them, or you can find them hidden in chests.
  • Each tape plays a unique animation when you put it inside a screen.
  • Hollow Cassettes require an Echo Shard to craft and connect your screen to a camera.

View Finders (Cameras):

  • Lets you look directly through the camera and scroll to zoom in on things far away.
  • Accepts colored glass panes to give your video feed a special colored tint.
  • Works with mob heads to add funny visual effects to the live feed.

Wave Gate:

  • Allows creative mode players to paste a direct web link to play online videos or animations on the TV.

How to Use:

  1. Craft a View Finder and place it where you want to watch.
  2. Craft a Hollow Cassette using a regular tape and an Echo Shard.
  3. Use the Hollow Cassette on the View Finder to link them together.
  4. Place a Television block and power it with redstone.
  5. Put the linked Hollow Cassette into the TV to see the live camera feed.
  6. Sneak and click on the TV to pause the video at any time.
