GoodMC Old Combat & Blockhitting Mod (1.20.1) – Spam Click and Blockhit

GoodMC Old Combat & Blockhitting Mod brings back classic combat rules and visual animations from older game releases. It removes the weapon attack cooldown so you can swing as fast as you click, just like in version 1.8. You can block incoming attacks with your sword, perform blockhitting in battles, and enjoy classic 1.7 animations. The mod works in both singleplayer worlds and multiplayer servers, and every mechanic can be adjusted directly from an in-game settings menu.

Features:

• Classic Combat: Removes the attack cooldown completely so weapons strike at full speed on every click.
• Sword Blocking: Restores right-click sword blocking to reduce incoming damage by half.
• Old Animations: Recreates classic 1.7 swing styles, third-person item holds, eating motions, and blockhitting visuals.
• Disables sweep attacks on swords unless the weapon has the Sweeping Edge enchantment.
• Reverts axe attack damage values back to their pre-1.9 balance.
• Restores the crafting recipe for Enchanted Golden Apples using eight gold blocks and an apple.
• Rebuffs the potion effects of Enchanted Golden Apples, Sharpness enchantments, and Strength potions.
• Optionally disables Armor Toughness so armor sets protect you just like in older releases.
• Brings back knockback effects when hitting targets with a fishing rod.
• Removes throw cooldown timers from Ender Pearls and Eyes of Ender.
• Allows you to break blocks while eating food, blocking with a sword, or drawing a bow.
• Removes the miss penalty so strikes register immediately when your crosshair touches a target.
• Adds optional toggleable 2D flat item drops, skulls, and beds.
• Includes an in-game configuration menu so you can change settings without editing files.
