Anachronistic Wilds Mod brings extinct prehistoric wildlife back to life through time fractures and ritual magic. It combines prehistoric archaeology with mystical rift mechanics so you can excavate ancient remains and summon lost creatures into your world. Hostile abominations step through open portals, challenging you in combat before you can gather enough ritual parts to start your own wildlife sanctuary.

  • Fossil Excavation Minigame: Uncover fragile fossils within a strict time limit using specialized excavation tools.
  • Time Fractures: Naturally spawning space-time rifts unleash dangerous abominations into the Overworld.
  • Summoning Altars: Build custom ritual sites to call forth extinct creatures from distant time periods.
  • Includes ancient plant life such as Calamites, Sigillaria, and giant Prototaxites fungi.
  • Features prehistoric ocean life swimming in deep waters, from Anomalocaris to Ophthalmosaurus.
  • Spawns land beasts and flightless birds like Dodos, Thylacines, and massive Elephant Birds.
  • Allows you to tame, house, and breed summoned pairs to repopulate extinct species.

Prehistoric Wildlife:

  • Trilobites, Arandaspis, and Falcatus populate ancient marine biomes.
  • Borealopelta and Doedicurus wander land areas as heavily armored herbivores.
  • Dawn Horses and Josephoartigasia introduce unique ancient mammal choices for wildlife parks.
  • Apthoroblattina and Flubbers add unusual ancient insects and organisms to study.

How to Use:

  1. Craft a Paleontology Toolkit and the Paleonomicon guidebook.
  2. Locate buried fossils and complete the extraction minigame before the timer runs out.
  3. Fight off time abominations emerging from natural space-time fractures to collect ritual components.
  4. Construct a summoning altar block structure using your gathered materials.
  5. Perform the time ritual at the altar to bring an ancient creature into the world.
  6. Summon a second creature of the same species to breed them and build a prehistoric sanctuary.
