Better Baby Pets Plugin lets players collect, hatch, and raise miniature animal companions that follow them on every adventure. Each tiny friend offers unique character buffs or handy mobile storage that grows as you take care of them. You can find special eggs inside dungeon chests, hatch them in a custom incubator, and watch your pets level up over time. This plugin also introduces mood mechanics, personal display settings, and built-in advancements to reward dedicated collectors.

Pet Incubator: Players can craft a custom block to hatch eggs found inside structure loot chests.
Stat Perks: Different animals grant helpful perks like extra health, jump height, or defense.
Mobile Storage: Certain pack animals unlock personal inventory slots that grow as they level up.
Mood System: Pets shift through five moods, requiring food and affection to stay happy.
Passive Leveling: Companions earn XP every minute they stay out, reaching up to level 10.

Commands:

/pets: Opens your pet collection menu.
/pets info: Shows stats for your active companion.
/pets settings: Opens the personal settings menu.
/pets follow: Sets your active companion to follow you.
/pets stay: Tells your active companion to stay in place.
/pets hideothers [on|off|toggle]: Toggles visibility for other players’ pets.
/pets sounds [on|off|toggle]: Toggles pet sounds on or off.
/pets notifications [on|off|toggle]: Toggles pet chat notifications.
/pets select <id>: Chooses a pet by its database ID.
/pets deselect: Deselects and removes your current active pet.
/pets help: Displays the full list of available commands.
/pets give <player> <rarity>: Gives an egg of a specific rarity to a player.
/pets givepet <pet_type>: Adds a pet directly to a player’s collection.
/pets setlevel <level>: Sets the level of the active pet.
/pets incubator: Gives a Pet Incubator block to the user.
/pets hatch: Instantly hatches all incubating eggs.
/pets reload: Reloads plugin files without a server restart.

Configuration:

config.yml: Controls incubation timers, leveling curves, XP intervals, follow distances, mood food items, and chest loot settings.
pets.yml: Sets up pet mob types, rarity ranks, descriptions, attribute rewards, and storage limits.

How to Use:

Find a pet egg inside vanilla structure loot chests or get one from an admin.
Craft a Pet Incubator at a crafting table and place it down in the world.
Right-click the incubator with your egg to start the hatching timer.
Wait 20 minutes for the egg to hatch into your new companion.
Type /pets to view your collection and click your baby animal to summon it.
Feed and pet your companion to maintain its mood while it gains XP by your side.
