Bloodbyte Hostile Apocalypse Addon (1.21, 1.20) upgrades zombies to become smarter. They can now use axes or pickaxes to break blocks and find their way to their targets. Even without tools, zombies can still break blocks, just slower. They also know how to use lava or TNT to attack. Zombies can even place blocks under their feet to climb up and approach their targets from above. Not only do they become stronger, but they also go through 7 different stages of evolution. Starting from slow, they gradually become more agile, break blocks faster, and become smarter.

How is this even playable when the zombies know where you are the instant they’re loaded in
I lit up a whole several chunks and a zombie group from a mile away mined under the earth and found me, I think this add on has incredible potential but should reduce the zombies ability to spot the player for playability’s sake. Or at least make a separate “playability” version. Overall awesome data pack and very interesting to play with
