If you enjoy using campfires in Minecraft, you will need to craft them using a crafting table. This is because campfires can only be made using a crafting table in Minecraft. However, with the help of Buildable Campfire Addon (1.20, 1.19), you can now make campfires directly on the ground without using a crafting table.

How to build a campfire with this addon:

  • First, you have to look for logs(Like Oak Logs, spruce logs, etc, except logs from nether) once you have logs, turn them into log pieces in crafting.

  • After having a log piece, you must also have (coal/charcoal) for the Campfire, (soul sand/soul soil) for the soul campfire, and a tool to light the fire, and do as below.

Soul soil:

  • Your campfire is ready.

Usage Note:

  • In addition to building a campfire, log pieces can be used as fuel for 40.0 duration.

  • The method of making a campfire directly on the ground also benefits you, because you only have to have 2 logs and 1 (coal/charcoal/soul sand/soul soil) and a tool to light the fire, in contrast to the crafting recipe which requires 3 logs, 1 (coal/charcoal/soul sand/soul soil) and 3 sticks.
  • If you want to make a normal campfire, put coal or charcoal after placing the log piece. and if you want to make a soul campfire, put soul sand or soul soil after placing the log piece.

Installation Note:

  • Make sure you turn on the Experimental Gameplay.
