Meteor Shield

• The Meteor Shield is quite possibly the most important block from this mod. Not only does it protect your land from a meteor crashing down on it, it also collects some of the materials from the meteor it destroyed. It also is used to help track the appearance of comets in the atmosphere.
• The strength of your Meteor Shield is determined by its power level. The highest power level you can have is 5. To increase your power level, you must insert Red Meteor Gems into the shield. The higher the power level, the more land the shield protects. Power level does not determine if a meteor can be blocked or not. All types of meteors at any size will be blocked by the shield no matter the power level.
• You can test your land for protection with a Protected Land Test Torch.

UI

Freezer

• The Freezer is a machine block that will freeze certain items. Its main function is to craft Frozen Iron, but that’s only the start of its functionality. It can create ice, packed ice, obsidian, and Slippery Blocks. It requires Frezarite Crystals (Ice and Packed Ice also works) as fuel. The Freezer can hold any liquid (including other mods’ liquids). It will hold up to 10 buckets worth.

Meteor Timer

The purpose of this block is to tell you when a meteor is going to crash. It does not tell you where, but it will tell you when. It conveys this information through redstone using two different modes:

• Power Mode
• Quick Mode

You can tell which mode a Meteor Timer is set on by either right-clicking on the block or by simply looking at the block. Right-clicking on the block will change the mode.

• Power Mode: Power mode will output a redstone signal with a strength based on how soon a meteor is to crash into the world. The sooner a meteor is to crash, the stronger the signal. The max length of the signal is 15 blocks (normal max length of a redstone signal). A practical use of this mode would be to setup an array of redstone lamps. Once all lamps are lit, then you know a meteor is about to crash. A quick example of this is in the video on the right.
• Quick Mode: Quick mode will simply output a redstone signal when a meteor is just about to crash.

Meteorite ore

• Meteorite ore is a ore that you can find in your minecraft world if you can’t find any Meteorite Crash Sites. When you mine the meteorite ore, unlike when you mine a meteorite block you will not have a chance to find any Alien Creepers inside the meteorite ore.
• The meteorite ore drops a Meteorite Chip, amount dropped increased by the Fortune enchantment.

Protected Land Tester

• The Protected Land Tester is a ‘Green Torch’ that acts as an indicator light, similar to a redstone torch but not putting out any redstone power. If the Protected Land Tester is placed within the protective radius of a Meteor Shield, it will light up. If it is not within a shield’s protective radius, it will not light up. The Protected Land Tester cannot be re-used as it is a one-time use, so when you break it, nothing will be dropped.

Frozen Iron Block

• The Frozen Iron Block is created by placing 9 Frozen Iron in a crafting table.
• The only useful things a Frozen Iron Block can do is either keep Frozen Iron in a compact block or you can use it as a decoration. It can also be used to build beacon bases.

Block of Red Meteor Gem

• The Block of Red Meteor Gem is a block that is crafted by placing 9 Red Meteor Gem in a crafting table. The Block of Red Meteor Gem has the same pattern as an Emerald Block but it is red.
• It can be used for decoration or simply it can be used to keep Red Meteor Gems in a compact block. It can also be used to build beacon bases (although it would be very expensive to do so).

Kreknorite Block

• The Kreknorite Block is a block that is crafted by placing 9 Kreknorite Ingots in a crafting table. The Kreknorite block is red in colour and is a different design to any of the vanilla items (unmodded minecraft items).
• The only things that a Kreknorite Block are useful for are storing Kreknorite Ingots and as a decoration block. It can also be used to build beacon bases.

Meteorite Block

• The Meteorite Block is simply a decorative/storage block. It is also used in crafting Meteor Summoners and the Meteor Timer. It can also be used to build bases for beacons.

Meteorite Ingot

• This ingot is used in a lot of the crafting recipes in this mod. Gather the necessary Meteorite Chips from Meteorite Meteors.

Meteorite Armor

• Meteorite Armor is perhaps the easiest armor to craft from the mod. The armor is crafted from Meteorite Ingots.
• Each piece of armor comes pre-enchanted with Magnetization 1. The enchantment level does not stack with each piece of armor. The effect takes the highest enchantment level available from any piece of armor. So wearing multiple pieces of Magnetized armor does not increase the power of the Magnetization. (Friendly Tip: Craft two pieces of armor for the enchantment. Then use an anvil to combine the pieces of armor for a higher enchantment level.)

Magnetization Controller

• The Magnetization Controller is a belt that you can wear that gives you the ability to toggle the Magnetization effect. Once equipped in the Baubles UI belt slot, you can press the toggle key (default is the ‘y’ key) to toggle the ability. This item is useful for when your inventory is full and you have items floating all around you. You simply press the toggle key and they drop to the ground like normal.
• The controller comes pre-enchanted with Magnetization 3 so you don’t need any other Magnetized tools or armor to still have the Magnetization effect.

Meteorite Tools

Meteorite Tools are the easiest tools to create in this mod. The only special ability of these tools is that they come pre-enchanted with Magnetization 1. The Magnetization effect only works while the tool is in your hand.

Meteorite Chip

• This essential material is from a Meteorite Meteor. You can use this chip to make Meteorite Ingots.

Magnetic Field Disruptor

• This item is simply used to craft the Magnetization Controller. It helps balance the cost of crafting the controller for how powerful it is.

Usage

Frozen Iron

• Frozen Iron is created by the Freezer. It is used to craft all the Frezarite Armor and Tools.

Frezarite Armor

• Frezarite Armor is possibly the coolest armor in the mod (pun intended). The primary focus of this armor set is to give the player control over water. With the various abilities of the armor, you can work faster underwater, hold your breath longer, and walk on water.
• The Helmet comes pre-enchanted with Respiration 3, allowing the player to hold their breath longer while under water.
• The Chest comes pre-enchanted with Aqua Affinity 1, making your tools work faster under water.
• The Leggings and Boots come pre-enchanted with Cold Touch 1. This is the ability that lets the player walk on water by freezing the water beneath him/her while walking. The ability does not work while under water. Note that the enchantment level stacks with your other armor. So having both the boots and leggings gives you Cold Touch 2.

Frezarite Crystal

• The Frezarite Crystal is obtained from a Frezarite Meteor crash site. It is used to both craft the Freezer and fuel it. One Frezarite Crystal will provide enough fuel to craft 8 items in the Freezer (similar to coal in a vanilla furnace). Note that it is not the only kind of fuel available for the Freezer though.
