MetaMorph Mod (1.12.2, 1.11.2) – Play As Your Favorite Mob

MetaMorph Mod lets you transform into different mobs in Minecraft. To gain the ability to morph, you must first defeat a mob. After you kill one, you can pick up its morph and use it to change your shape. This allows you to see the world from a new perspective and use the unique abilities of each creature.

Features:

• Transform into most vanilla Minecraft mobs after you defeat them.
• Gain special abilities unique to each mob, such as a chicken’s slow fall or a spider’s wall-climbing.
• Use mob-specific attacks, like a Cave Spider’s poison or an Iron Golem’s powerful knockback.
• Perform special actions by pressing a key, like a Creeper’s explosion or a Rabbit’s high jump.
• Your size, health, and appearance change to match the mob you morph into.
• Bats can fly and have night vision, while Squids can breathe underwater.
• Morphs are kept even after you die.
• A creative mode menu allows you to select almost any available morph freely.

About Morphs:

Every morph you equip or apply grant you different look, size, and health capacity. Except those properties, every morph also has special abilities, attack and action.

Abilities give special properties to morphs. Chicken morph will slowly fall and get no fall damage. Spider and CaveSpider morphs will be able to climb on the wall. Bat morph will be able to fly and has a night vision.

Attack is an effect which is applied onto attacked entity. For example, if you hit some entity while being in CaveSpider morph, your target will gain poison potion effect. If you’ll hit an entity while being in VillagerGolem morph, you’ll throw your target high in the air.

Action is a special ability that is triggered by “action key” (which is “V” by default). Examples: in Rabbit morph, you’ll jump high; in Creeper morph, you’ll explode like a creeper, and so on.

Abilities:

The abilities which has been checked, are in the game’s code, but doesn’t likely are functional yet. They’re implemented basically.

Ticking abilities

• Fly (just like in creative)
• Glide (slow down fall)
• Breath underwater (infinite time in the water)
• Swim (faster water swim)
• Allergies (get damage from)
• Snow walk (places thing layer of snow under the player)
• Climb up the wall (when you’re near the wall you can climb it)
• Fire immunity
• Fall damage prevention (for jumping mobs)
• Jumping (like slimes, you can’t just walk)
• Night vision (bat)

Attacks

• Wither (wither skeleton)
• Super knockback (iron golem)
• Poison (cave spider)

Actions

• Throw negative potion (press key to be like a witch)
• Shoot snow ball (press key to shoot snow ball)
• Teleport (press key to teleport)
• Shoot fire (press key to shoot fire)
• Creeper suicide action explode (press key to explode and kill yourself)
• Jump (higher jump)

How to Use:

1. To get a morph, find and kill a mob. A ghost of the mob will appear; walk into it to collect the morph.
2. Press the X key to open the morph menu and see all the forms you have collected.
3. Select a morph with your mouse or arrow keys and press the ‘Morph’ button or the Enter key to transform.
4. To change back into your player form, press the demorph key (. by default).
5. To use a morph’s special action, like a Creeper’s explosion, press the action key (V by default).
6. In Creative Mode, press the B key to open the Creative Morph Menu and choose any morph you want.
