Bonemealing an area of grass blocks will allow you to generate some grass and a couple of flowers on those blocks. While this is a good way to farm flowers, it also ends up giving you a lot of unwanted byproducts as the grass and the type of flower generated are random. What if you wanted to farm a single flower type? Some flowers that are two blocks tall can be farmed by right clicking them with bonemeal. This will make them drop a newly generated flower in its item form. But the same is not applicable for short flowers like poppy, dandelions, etc. Flower Doubling Mod (1.20.1, 1.19.4) brings a solution to this inconsistency.  With this mod installed, you can simply right click a short flower to generate a second one that will be dropped in its item form. If you want a large number of flowers, you can simply AFK right click on a flower while holding some bonemeal in your hand.

Screenshots:

Short flowers are those flowers that are just one block tall.

Right clicking on this flower with bonemeal will generate more flowers.

This works for all the one block tall flower variants in the game.
