Guard Villagers Autonomous Villager Defense Mod (1.21.1, 1.20.1)

Guard Villagers Autonomous Villager Defense Mod adds automatic defense features for Guard Villagers. It lets normal villagers automatically turn into fighters when enemies attack their town. This means you do not have to watch over them all the time, as they will grab weapons to protect their homes.

Features:

• Normal villagers turn into guards as soon as a zombie or other enemy comes near the town.
• Checks how many guards are currently in the area and adds more if the number falls below two.
• Picks lazy villagers, known as nitwits, to become guards first.
• Selects unemployed villagers next, followed by workers you have never traded with.
• Works in naturally generated towns and custom towns you build yourself.
• Gives you the option to spawn brand-new guards out of thin air instead of changing your existing villagers.

Configuration:

• Change the distance at which the town and the guards can spot incoming enemies.
• Decide if a town needs a bell for villagers to change into guards.
• Choose exactly which types of villagers are allowed to pick up weapons.
• Set a strict limit on the maximum number of guards allowed in one area.
• Change the cooldown time between new guard spawns.
• Turn guard loot drops on or off.

How to Use:

1. Find a natural village or start building your own custom town.
2. To make a custom town work with this mod, place at least one bed, one job block, and one bell.
3. Make sure a villager claims the bed so the game counts it as a real town.
4. Wait for enemies to attack, and watch the villagers automatically step up to fight back.
