Guard Villagers Mod (26.1.2, 1.20.1) – Villagers Warriors

Guard Villagers Mod is a mod that adds a new guard to Minecraft villages. Indeed, you may have already witnessed the extermination of an entire village because the golem is quite slow and rarely manages to save the village if you’re not there. This gap is thus corrected with the addition of the guard and more. Moreover, the author has also reworked the villagers’ AI.

Features:

The Guards

• The guards appear in villages in groups of 6 and are equipped with either an iron sword or a crossbow. They are ready to fight any threat to the village, including the player if they attack the villagers. To create new guards, shift + right-click on an unemployed villager with a sword or crossbow in hand.
• As long as you are the hero of the village, they will fight for you, and if you right-click on a guard with an empty hand, they will follow you. Right-clicking on them opens the guards’ inventory, allowing you to give them armor and exchange their weapons! For the off-hand, you can give them either a shield or food. If they have a shield, they will use it to block attacks, but crossbow guards won’t be able to kick enemies. If they have food or a potion, they will use it to restore their health.

AI Changes

• Several changes have been made to certain creatures. You can enable or disable these modifications via the configuration file.

The Witch

• Witches will now attack villagers. This option is enabled by default.

Illagers

• During raids, illagers will also attack all nearby animals. This option is disabled by default.

Polar Bears

• Villagers and illagers will be afraid of polar bears and will flee. This option is enabled by default.

Cleric & Blacksmith

• Clerics heal guards with low health and players who are the hero of the village using regeneration potions. Blacksmiths repair iron golems with ingots.
