Mediumcore Mode Mod (1.20.1) – A New Difficulty Option

Mediumcore Mode Mod is a mod designed to add an extra layer of challenge to Minecraft survival without the full difficulty of Hardcore mode. It introduces a unique middle ground where death carries a significant penalty, but it’s not as severe as losing your entire world. Players are punished for dying by dropping all of their items and respawning at their last bed, making survival a bit more intense but still manageable.
