New ores, tools, weapons, armor sets and even food items come with Ores Plus Official, an add-on that keeps a visual style close to the vanilla game. Experimental Features must be enabled in the world settings because it uses scripting APIs.

Alexandrite is obtained by defeating the Ender Dragon and is used to craft a full set of equipment, including the Alexandrite Pickaxe and Sword. Cobalt Ingots make Cobalt Boots, a Chestplate and a Helmet. Elemental gems and essences drop from mobs such as Blazes, Guardians and Endermen and go into elemental armor sets and swords like the Cryo Sword and Infernal Sword. An Advanced Smithing Table is among the new crafting stations. The content suits both survival and PvP.
