Pillager Caravans Mod (26.1.2, 1.20.1) – Ambush Traveling Convoys for Biome Loot

Pillager Caravans Mod adds traveling convoys of enemies and animals to the world. Instead of finding treasure hidden in dark dungeons, you spot cargo moving across the land. These groups walk through different biomes and carry loot that matches their location. It turns normal walks into a fun hunt for moving targets.

Features:

• Spawns moving groups of pillagers, vindicators, and ravagers walking across the map.
• Changes the loot inside the cargo based on the biome the group travels through.
• Scales the challenge depending on the size of the traveling group.
• Pairs specific pack animals with the environment they walk through.
• Teleports animals back to their owners if their leash almost breaks.
• Despawns the pack animals automatically when the main guard disappears.

Biome Cargo Types:

• Jungle biomes offer rare plants and exotic goods.
• Desert biomes provide sugar cane and survival supplies.
• Snowy biomes bring extra food stocks and practical items.

Difficulty Levels:

• Small groups walk with a few animals and light guards.
• Large groups bring heavy cargo, lots of guards, and dangerous ravagers.
• Major spawns create a longer cooldown before the next group appears.

Commands:

• /gamerule doCaravanSpawning : turns natural spawning on or off.
• /caravan spawn <pos> <type>: creates a specific group at your chosen location.
• /caravan cooldown : checks or changes the timer for the next natural spawn.

Configuration:

• config/obscuria/pillager_caravans-common.toml: edit this file to change spawn rules, loot tables, and timers.

How to Use:

1. Walk around the world normally until you spot a group of traveling enemies.
2. Defeat the guards protecting the pack animals.
3. Collect the dropped loot from the animals after you win the fight.
4. Open the in-game config menu on newer versions to change how often they spawn.
