Better Records Mod lets you play your favorite songs directly in Minecraft. You can download music from the internet or listen to online radio streams without leaving the game. This mod also adds speakers to make the music louder, plus strobe lights and lasers to create a party atmosphere for you and your friends.

Better Records Mod

Features:

  • Download songs from the internet by providing a URL.
  • Create custom music discs using the Record Etcher block.
  • Supports MP3, WAV, and OGG file formats for your music.
  • Listen to live internet radio streams inside the game.
  • Place speakers and connect them to a record player to increase the sound range.
  • Add strobe lights and lasers to create cool visual effects that sync with the music.
  • Craft special records that can play multiple songs in a row or on shuffle.

How to Use:

  1. First, you need a direct URL to a song file (it must be an mp3, wav, or ogg file).
  2. Craft a Record Etcher and a Blank Record.
  3. Place the Record Etcher and open its menu.
  4. Put the Blank Record inside, then type in a name for your song and paste the URL.
  5. Take out your new custom music disc.
  6. Place a Record Player and put the disc in to listen to your music.

Blank Record

First things first, in order to craft the record needed for this mod, you must combine any vanilla record with an eye of ender. Dying of records works the same way as any other thing.

The only object able to read the contents of the written records! (Since the original record player takes a diamond, I figured this is a good recipe for a more advanced version.)
