In Minecraft, mining certain ores like gold, iron and copper drop their raw ore variants. These raw ores must be smelted in a furnace or a blast furnace to obtain their ingot counterparts, which can then be used for crafting other items. Raw Ores Processing Mod further extends this feature to raw ore blocks. With this mod installed, raw ore blocks can be smelted in a furnace or a blast furnace to obtain their metal block counterpart. For example, raw iron blocks can be smelted into iron blocks.
