Second Chance Mod (1.21.5, 1.20.1) – Survive Heavy Damage

Second Chance Mod prevents players from dying instantly from high-damage hits. For example, if a player has more than 6 hearts and is struck by a mob dealing 7 hearts of damage, the mod ensures the player survives with half a heart, allowing them to escape and heal. This makes battles against strong mobs a bit more forgiving, offering players a chance to regroup rather than facing an immediate defeat.

• If a player has 7 or more hearts, an attack that would normally kill them leaves them with half a heart, allowing them to escape.
• Inspired by Celeste, this feature lets players jump mid-air for a brief moment after falling off a ledge.
• Players can adjust health thresholds, enable or disable mechanics, and customize sound cues.
• The mod does not activate for fall damage, crushing damage, or void damage, ensuring balanced gameplay.
