NetherOres Mod (1.7.10, 1.6.4) – Double Your Ores with Risk

NetherOres Mod adds new ore blocks to the Nether that are counterparts to the ones found in the Overworld. These special ores give you more resources, usually about twice as much as the normal versions. However, mining them is risky because they can explode or make nearby Zombie Pigmen attack you. This mod also introduces the Hellfish, a new creature that acts like a Silverfish but lives in the Nether.

Features:

• Find new versions of common ores like coal, iron, gold, and diamond generating in the Nether.
• Get more resources from each block, as Nether Ores typically yield double the amount of their Overworld counterparts.
• Mine with caution, as breaking these ore blocks can trigger an explosion.
• Breaking Nether Ores will make nearby Zombie Pigmen become hostile and attack you.
• Encounter a new mob called the Hellfish, which is a Nether version of the Silverfish.
• Smelt a Nether Ore block in a furnace to receive two regular Overworld ore blocks.
• Process the ores in machines from other mods, like a Macerator or Pulverizer, to get even more resources.
• Ores for materials like copper, tin, and lead will only appear if you have other mods that use those metals installed.
