Dynamic Trees Biomes O’ Plenty Compat Mod (1.21.1, 1.20.1)

Dynamic Trees Biomes O’ Plenty Compat Mod is the bridge that lets the trees from Biomes O’ Plenty grow the way Dynamic Trees grows the vanilla ones. Without it the two mods sit side by side and the difference shows: thick trunks that branch and thicken over time next to flat, static shapes from the older mod. This add-on swaps the Biomes O’ Plenty trees out during world generation, so a jacaranda or a willow behaves like every other tree you plant.

Features:

• Trees from Biomes O’ Plenty are replaced during world generation, so no hand planting is needed to see them.
• Growing versions cover palm, maple, jacaranda, willow, fir, mahogany, redwood, umbran, magic and both poplars.
• Seasonal shapes are included too, with orange autumn, yellow autumn, pink cherry, white cherry and flowering oak.
• Rainbow birch, hellbark, and the dying, dead and burnt variants all have their own growing forms.
• Toadstool and glowshroom grow as well, provided you also have Dynamic Trees Plus installed.
• Origin Oak keeps its original shape on purpose, and mangrove is left alone because there is no mangrove wood to build from.
• Tree Packs let you change how any of these trees behave and how thickly they generate.
• The licence is MIT and the source is public, so any modpack may include it without asking.

How to Use:

1. Install Forge or NeoForge for your Minecraft version.
2. Download both Dynamic Trees and Biomes O’ Plenty. Neither one is optional, and this add-on does nothing on its own.
3. Add Dynamic Trees Plus as well if you want the mushrooms to grow too.
4. Drop every jar into .minecraft/mods and start the game.
5. Start a fresh world. Chunks generated before the add-on was added keep the old flat trees.
6. Drop a Tree Pack into the config folder if you want to change growth rates or which trees get swapped.
