Tooltip Rareness Mod (1.21.1, 1.20.1) – Splits Items into Rareness Groups

Tooltip Rareness Mod is a small RPG mod that categorizes items by rarity. The rarity of an item can be viewed in the tooltip in the inventory. This feature is purely cosmetic and does not affect the actual drop rates of items in the game.

Rareness Groups

TooltipRareness adds 6 rareness groups:

• admin_item
• legendary_item
• epic_item
• rare_item
• uncommon_item
• common_item

To assign items to a rareness group, create a JSON file named after the group and place it under:

data/tooltiprareness/tags/items/YOURFILE
