Distant Friends Mod adds creepy player-like mobs to Minecraft that spawn far away from the player, wave at them, and crouch to get noticed. However, as soon as the player approaches within 5-10 blocks, they vanish without a trace. This will happen repeatedly-they’ll occasionally spawn somewhere nearby, watching the player and giving signs of attention, but you can never get close to them.
