Light Level Mod is a practical mod that enhances your Minecraft experience by providing a convenient overlay for analyzing light levels within your surroundings. Activated with a simple toggle (default: F9), this mod offers two distinct modes to cater to different gameplay needs. In Normal mode, it presents information about the light level reaching blocks with a solid top in a 16-block radius. The overlay displays the block light level and color-codes the possibility of hostile mobs spawning: White indicates that a mob cannot spawn in that area, Yellow suggests that a mob can spawn during the night, Red warns that a mob can spawn at any time. It’s important to note that this mod focuses solely on light levels and does not consider other conditions for mob spawning. With it, players can effortlessly monitor light levels in their surroundings, helping them optimize their builds and ensure the safety of their environments.
