  • Upgrades the game to a 128x resolution for sharper and cleaner details.
  • Adds physically based rendering so metals look shiny and wool looks soft.
  • Turns ice blocks into clear, mirror-like surfaces that reflect the area around them.
  • Gives blocks real 3D depth using parallax mapping, making surfaces like cobblestone look bumpy instead of flat.
  • Makes materials react to rain and water naturally.
  • Wood turns dark when it gets wet, while stone and metal form small water puddles on their surface.
  • Lets light shine softly through blocks like snow and resin using subsurface scattering.
  • Requires a shader pack with labPBR and parallax support to work correctly.

Recommended Shader Settings:

  • Change the PBR format to labPBR in your shader menu.
  • Turn off any hardcoded lighting options.
  • Disable the “Normals by Parallax” setting.
  • Turn on Subsurface Scattering, Smooth Parallax, and Porosity.
  • Enable Screen Space Reflections or Global Illumination for the best reflections.
  • Switch on labPBR Emissive Textures so glowing blocks light up correctly.
