Abyssal Ascent Modpack (1.20.1, 1.19.2) is a Minecraft modpack built around one core idea: many dimensions stacked vertically into one giant underground world. You start at the very bottom of this world and must climb upward through dangerous dimensions to finally return to the Overworld. The modpack uses the mod Immersive Portals to connect dimensions seamlessly, creating one continuous vertical journey where 8+ dimensions are stacked on top of each other. You spawn in the lowest dimension, the Undergarden, and your main objective is to travel upward through hostile environments to reach the Overworld. Along the way, each dimension offers unique biomes, new creatures and bosses, as well as different resources and survival conditions. You begin at extreme depth with limited supplies, explore underground regions, fight dangerous mobs, defeat bosses to unlock progress, gather materials from each layer, and craft special items using custom recipes. Progression is slow and challenging, requiring careful exploration, strategic combat, and smart resource management before you can finally escape the abyss and return to the surface.
