Authlib Library is a library that allows you to modify authorization and session server addresses in Authlib without changing the original library. It is designed as a javaagent. This library simplifies the setup of an alternative authorization service in both client and server, since the transformation happens during application startup.

How to install:

Instructions for Windows:

  1. Press Win+R simultaneously (Win: key with Microsoft/Windows icon).
  2. In the Run dialog, type %APPDATA% and press Enter
  3. If you see only 3 folders, then you need to open Roaming folder. Then open the .minecraft folder.
  4. Open the mods folder (Forge will create it when you first run Minecraft).
  5. Open the archive downloaded from this site and simply drag and drop the file with jar extension in the mods folder.
  6. If you are using OptiFine and want to use our skins system – use Legacy Launcher, because our patch is not compatible with 1.6.4 and OptiFine.
  7. Close all the windows and launch the game.

Instructions for Ubuntu (GNU/Linux):

  1. Move to the folder “/home/<your_username>”.
  2. If you cannot see hidden files, press Ctrl+H.
  3. Find the .minecraft folder (visible only when hidden files are shown) and open it.
  4. Follow steps 4 and onwards from Windows instructions.
