Autumnity Mod (1.19.2, 1.18.2) adds biomes and features centered around Autumn. It includes a new wood type, snails and more.

Features:

Maple forests:

Maple forests are colorful forests stuck in perpetual autumn. They are home to snails and colorful maple trees.

Maple trees:

Maple trees are found most commonly in maple forests, but they also generate rarely in normal forests. Stripping a maple log with an axe has a chance to reveal sap underneath its bark. The sap can be harvested using a glass bottle and be made into syrup using a furnace.

Snails:

Snails are friendly creatures that live in maple forests and pumpkin fields. They are quite shy and will retreat into their shells when approached without sneaking. Feeding them mushrooms will make them produce snail slime, which can be used to make blocks and potions of extension. They can be bred with mushroom stew and suspicious stew. When a baby snail grows up, it drops a snail shell piece, which can be used to make snail shell chestplates.

Snail Slime Blocks:

Snail slime blocks are crafted by placing snail slime in every slot of the crafting rid. They behave similar to normal slime blocks, but they have some differences. Unlike slime blocks, snail slime blocks are also sticky on the bottom, which allows for entities to hang from them without falling. When a snail slime block is placed next to water or a wet sponge, it becomes slippery instead of sticky. This makes it useful for redstone contraptions, as its ability to move blocks next to it when moved by a piston can be toggled.

Snail Shell Chestplate:

Snail shell chestplates are crafted with snail shell pieces. Sneaking while wearing the chestplate gives the wearer resistance III and makes them knockback resistant. The armor also gives the wearer five armor points of protection.

Foul Berries:

Foul berry bushes generate in Maple forests in small clusters. Their leaves are poisonous and inflict anti-healing when touched. Their berries can be harvested by right-clicking them similarly to sweet berries. Foul berries have an 80% chance of inflicting hunger when eaten, but the chance can be decreased by crafting the berries into a foul berry pie. Fully grown foul berry bushes have a 10% chance to drop a foul berry leaf when broken. Foul berry leaves can be brewed into potions of anti-healing.

Extension:

Extension is a new status effect that makes active potion effects last a little bit longer, 18 seconds, to be exact. Potions of extension can be brewed using snail slime.

Anti-healing:

Anti-healing is a new status effect that prevents mobs and players from regenerating health. Potions of anti-healing can be brewed with foul berry leaves and they can be turned into potions of regeneration by brewing them with fermented spider eyes.
