The End dimension has always been a dead place. As the name suggests, it’s a place where players get to explore after beating the game. There is nothing much to do in the end other than hunting for shulkers and looking for elytras. Basic End Ores Mod (1.20.1, 1.19.2) aims to bring some life to the end dimension by adding endstone variants of Minecraft ores into the game. These new ores only generate in the End dimension and gives the player an opportunity to actually go to the End with the intention of mining. The End is a very open place with floating islands, which makes it easier to spot ores faster compared to the overworld.

  • Smelting Efficiency: Ore blocks from Basic End Ores can be smelted to return a single ingot, mirroring the functionality of vanilla ores. This feature adds a layer of consistency and convenience for players accustomed to standard Minecraft mechanics.
