CreeperHost’s Soul Shards Mod (1.21.5, 1.20.1) – Soul Stealer

CreeperHost’s Soul Shards Mod (1.21.5, 1.20.1) is a port of Soul Shards Respawn Mod, this is a simple mod that allows you to gather the souls of the creatures you slay into gem fragments.

Features:

• Players can collect souls from defeated mobs and store them in shards. The first creature killed with a shard binds it to that entity, meaning only that type of mob will be stored.
• Once a shard reaches a certain tier, it can be placed inside a Soul Cage to spawn the bound entity indefinitely.
• The mod features five tiers, each requiring a specific number of souls to unlock. Higher tiers allow for faster spawning and more mobs per cycle.
• A special weapon that grants additional souls per kill, making the process of collecting souls more efficient.
• Players can right-click a mob spawner containing the bound entity to consume the spawner and gain extra souls.
• The mod is designed to be gated behind Nether progression, requiring specific materials like Obsidian, Quartz, Glowstone, and a Diamond to create a Soul Shard.

How to use:

• By default, the mod is gated to be placed just after entering the Nether. To obtain a shard, create a structure and right-click the center with a diamond.
• The first kill you get with a Shard binds that shard to the killed entity. Shards must be on your hot bar or in your offhand. It will only receive souls from that entity from then on. To speed up the process, you can right-click a Mob Spawner that contains the bound entity to consume the spawner and increase the shard’s stored souls by 200 (configurable).
• To efficiently gain souls, you should look into getting the Vile Sword, which adds another soul per kill, or the Soul Stealer enchantment, which adds an additional soul per kill per level. The maximum amount of souls you can obtain per kill is 7 (1 base + 1 Vile Sword + 5 max level Soul Stealer).
• Once you begin progressing through the tiers, you should craft a Soul Cage. A Soul Cage will let you insert your Soul Shard and will begin spawning the bound entity indefinitely.
