Glide Client (1.8.9) is a fork of Soar Client that aims to fix many of the issues people faced with Soar Client.
Features:

How to install:
- Download the client from the link below.
- Open your Minecraft directory:
- Windows: Press Win + R, type
%appdata%\.minecraft\versions
, and press Enter. The path is typicallyC:\Users\<Your_Username>\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\versions
. - macOS: Open Finder, press Cmd + Shift + G, and type
~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/versions
. - Linux: Open your file explorer and navigate to

- Windows: Press Win + R, type
- Copy the entire GlideClient folder (containing the
GlideClient.json
file) into theversions
directory. - Result: You should have a path like
%appdata%\.minecraft\versions\GlideClient\GlideClient.json
. - Close the Minecraft Launcher if it’s open, then reopen it.
- In the launcher, click the dropdown menu next to the Play button to select a version.
- Find and select the GlideClient version (or a similar name, depending on the JSON file).
- If you don’t see this version, double-check that the folder and JSON file are placed correctly.
- Click Play to launch Minecraft with Glide Client.
- Once in the game, you’ll see the Glide Client interface with features like the mod menu (opened with the Right Shift key), HUD customization, and PvP mods.
