Good Skeletons Don’t Strafe Mod 1.15.2, 1.14.4 removes the very annoying and buggy strafing behavior from skeletons when attacking. This way they will no longer walk backward and fall off cliffs or get stuck at simple corners.

When attacking skeletons will now simply behave like shown in the GIF below.

This mod changes the skeleton ai to prevent them from strafing around while shooting at a target using their bow. The resulting behavior in the mod is very similar to the one present before Minecraft 1.9 where skeletons would simply stand still and shoot. Differences compared to versions prior to Minecraft 1.9 are:

Skeletons haven’t forgotten how a bow works, so they will still load an arrow into it and draw back before them fire.
Skeletons forget about their target rather quickly when they can’t see it anymore. This was a change to target tracking in general in Minecraft 1.9 and it’s just too much for me to revert in such a simple mod.
