Cooking gets a big expansion in Mega Vanilla Delight, an add-on that reworks the food system with over a hundred new recipes made from ingredients that make sense for each dish.

Both the behavior and resource packs have to be applied to the world. Desserts include Apple Pie, made from wheat crust and apple slices, and Carrot Cake, which needs carrots, wheat and eggs. Ice cream is churned from snow, milk, sugar and an egg, and honey candy uses honey, sugar and wheat. Mob drops get used as well: rotten flesh, wheat, egg and carrot make Monster Meatballs, phantom membranes with carrots become Phantom Viscera, and spider eyes go into recipes with mushrooms. Hearty options include Beef Stew and Turtle Soup.
