Minecraft 1.21.6 Snapshot 25w21a introduces revamped cloud patterns. Horses, donkeys, and mules can now be fed carrots to heal, grow, and improve their temper, simplifying taming and care. New sound effects have been added for snapping leads and shearing saddles.

Dialogues

  • Click actions with run_command now properly close dialogue boxes and written book screens, even if the command doesn’t require elevated permissions.

  • If a new dialogue is received by the client while the warning screen is visible, it won’t override it, but when the user clicks the “Back” button, the new dialogue will be restored instead.
  • Element sizes in dialogues are now limited:
    • Buttons: between 1 and 1024 (inclusive).
    • Dialogue body minecraft:plain_message: between 1 and 1024 (inclusive).
    • Dialogue body minecraft:item:
      • Description width: between 1 and 1024 (inclusive).
      • Width: between 1 and 256 (inclusive).
      • Height: between 1 and 256 (inclusive).
    • Input control minecraft:text: between 1 and 1024 (inclusive).
    • Input control minecraft:single_option: between 1 and 1024 (inclusive).
