Minecraft PE/Bedrock Edition 1.21.100.6 adds “The Void” flat world preset, experimental features for Drop 3 2025, and fixes bugs.

Features:

  • Added “The Void” Flat World Preset: A new flat world preset has been added, completing the set of 9 flat world presets previously exclusive to Java Edition.
  • Experimental Features for Drop 3 2025:
    • Copper Chest: A new chest variant that can be crafted using 1 chest and 8 copper ingots. Copper chests have oxidation stages (unoxidized, exposed, weathered, fully oxidized) and can be polished with an axe or protected with honeycomb. They can interact with Copper Golems.
    • Copper Golem: A new mob that can be summoned and turns into a statue when fully oxidized. The statue can change poses when interacted with and emits different redstone signals for each pose.
  • Natural World Improvements:
    • Icebergs in the Frozen Ocean biome now generate with shapes and frequency more similar to Java Edition, with surfaces consisting of open water instead of ice.
    • Increased the size of podzol patches under large pine trees and large spruce trees.
    • Mushrooms now properly grow under trees in swamp biomes and other biomes.
    • Seagrass no longer penetrates through ice in biomes with ice on the water surface.
