Offhand Dynamic Light Addon (1.21) is a very lightweight addon that adds true dynamic lighting from torches/lanterns held in your offhand (second hand), so you can mine/explore caves without constantly placing torches-light follows you as you move, just like Java Edition’s OptiFine dynamic lights.

How to use:

  • First, craft the off-hand torch.
  • Use it on your off hand
  • You can craft it using a torch or stick, and coal
