Origins BE Addon (1.21) is the official port of the famous Java Edition “Origins” mod for Bedrock/MCPE (1.21), developed by the OriginsBE Team. It introduces a class-based RPG system where you choose a specific “Origin” (race) at the start of the game, granting you unique powers and permanent drawbacks.

Features:

  • Origin Choice: Upon joining a world, you are prompted to select a race. This choice is permanent unless you use an Orb of Origin.

  • Unique Abilities: Each Origin has “Active” abilities (triggered by items or sneak-jumping) and “Passive” traits (constant effects).

  • The “Trade-off”: No Origin is purely a buff. Every powerful ability is balanced by a weakness (e.g., restricted diet, environmental damage).

Popular Origins:

Origin Major Strength Major Weakness
Elytrian Permanent wings (natural Elytra) and high-jump. Takes double kinetic damage and can only wear light armor.
Enderian Can teleport (Pearl ability) and has increased reach. Takes damage from water/rain and hates pumpkins.
Merling Breathes, sees, and mines fast underwater. Cannot breathe air; must stay in water.
Blazeborn Immune to fire/lava and deals extra damage when burning. Takes massive damage from water/rain.
Phantom Can walk through blocks and become invisible. Burns in daylight and has less health.
Avian Slowly falling and moves faster. Cannot eat any meat (Vegetarian).
