Ornithe Installer is a project similar to Fabric, but it allows mods to be installed and compatible with older versions of Minecraft, especially very old ones like Beta, Alpha, or Classic. Ornithe Installer is very easy to use, just like installing Fabric Loader or Minecraft Forge Installer.

How to install:

  • Download the .jar or .exe file below.
  • Open the file — the interface will look similar to Fabric Loader.
  • Minecraft version → Select the old version you want (e.g., Beta 1.7.3).
  • Loader version → Leave it as default.
  • Install location → Your .minecraft folder.
  • Click Install.
  • After installation:
    • Open Minecraft Launcher.
    • In the Installations tab, you will see a new profile named Ornithe (just like with Fabric/Forge).
    • Select the Ornithe profile → Click Play.
  • Mods compatible with Ornithe will be in .jar format.
    • Place them into the folder.
