Pet Protect Mod (1.21.11, 1.21.1) – Protect Pets During Combat

Losing your pet in a Minecraft fight can be distressing. The pet that you cared for and has fought beside you, is now gone forever. Pet Protect Mod is here to help prevent situations like this. As the name suggests, the mod implements several features that help you protect your pet. These features can be toggled using the configuration options provided at config/petprotect.json. A list of toggleable options and their uses are listed below.

• prevent_pet_damage: Global toggle for the mod.
• prevent_pet_attack: Decides whether pets will attack players.
• allow_owner_damage: Decides whether owners should be able to damage their own pets.
• ignore_creative: Decides whether creative players can damage pets regardless of other rules.
