The One Probe Mod adds a handy tooltip that shows information about the block or mob you are looking at. To see the details, you need to hold a special item called the probe in your hand. This keeps your screen clear when you don’t need the information. The mod displays basic details like the block’s name, the mod it comes from, and the right tool for harvesting. You can also see how much RF energy a block has or peek inside a chest’s inventory by sneaking.

  • Find out which tool is required to harvest a specific block.
  • Displays the current Redstone power level of a block.
  • Check the growth progress of crops.
  • Shows information about mobs, including their active potion effects when you sneak.
  • Works when the probe is in your main hand or off-hand.
  • Includes three modes: Normal for basic info, Extended for extra details while sneaking, and Admin for creative mode.

How to Use:

  1. Craft a probe and hold it in your hand to activate the tooltip.
  2. Look at a block or mob to see its information.
  3. Sneak while looking to see more advanced details, such as inventory contents or potion effects.
  4. Press the L key to turn the display for liquid information on or off.

Configuration:

  • Use the /topcfg command to change the on-screen position and appearance of the information box.
  • More settings can be adjusted in the theoneprobe.cfg file.
