Deforestation can become an issue in the Minecraft universe too. If you play in survival mode and have a tree forest area near your base, chances are that the trees in this area are being cut down by you for various needs. Soon enough, what was once a forest area will turn into an empty plain area. But not anymore! QuickPlant Mod (1.20.2, 1.19.2) is here with a solution to this problem. With this mod installed, you will never have forest areas being deplenished. And the best part? You just need to have this mod installed and have to do nothing on your own. When you cut down a tree, the game will run a code to see if the floating leaves have any logs attached to them. If a floating leaf block has no logs attached to it, it will decay. Some leaves will decay into nothing, while others will drop saplings and apples. These drops are usually ignored by players and will despawn after some time. But with this mod installed, the saplings dropped by the decayed leaves will plant themselves if they fell onto a dirt or a grass block. These planted saplings will soon grow into new trees, hence replenishing the forest.
