Ruby and Relic Addon adds an ore that can be crafted into tools, armor, and artifacts. Players can mine Ruby ore to craft tools with special abilities, armor that grants a “second chance” in combat, and items like the Ender Ball Gun that teleports.

Features:

  • Ruby Tools
    • Ruby Sword: Diamond-grade sword that activates Strength II for 7 seconds after killing a creature (has a cooldown).
    • Ruby Pickaxe: Super durable, mines stone extremely fast but is ineffective against deepslate and ore.
    • Ruby Shovel: Digs dirt faster than a Netherite pickaxe with Efficiency III, but is useless against sand.
    • Ruby Axe: Activates “Weight of the Dead” to freeze creatures and players within 6 blocks, in exchange for not being able to attack during the effect.
    • Ruby Hoe: Super durable, still in testing and will have its own use in a later update.
  • Ruby Armor
    • When fully equipped, unlocks the “Guardian of the Ruby” ability: when at 4 or less hearts, gain Resistance II, Fire Resistance, Water Breathing, and Invisibility for 5 seconds.
    • The long cooldown ensures this is a rare “rescue” ability rather than a constant buff.
  • Ender Tools
    • Ender Pearl Launcher: Combine Ruby with rods and Ender pearls to craft, firing Micro-Ender Pearls to teleport and gain 5 seconds of invisibility.
    • Micro-Ender Pearl: Use 4 Ender pearls to craft 16 small pearls.
