Shrek’s Revenge Mod (1.20.1, 1.19.2) adds a powerful ogre enemy inspired by Shrek into your world. He is hostile by default, attacks on sight, and becomes much stronger in swamp areas. With the right item, you can turn him from a threat into a protector.

Features:

  • Adds a large ogre boss-style mob
  • Spawns in most normal biomes (not extreme hot or cold)
  • Automatically attacks nearby players
  • Extra strong when inside swamp and mangrove biomes

Behavior

  • Waves when spotting a player, then charges to attack
  • High health and strong melee damage
  • In swamps and mangroves gains bonus effects:
    • Strength
    • Regeneration

Drops

  • Can drop Onions
  • Can drop a special item: Shreksophone

Shreksophone Usage

  • Play music when used
  • Right-click Shrek with Shreksophone to make him neutral
  • When neutral:
    • Does not attack players
    • Attacks hostile mobs instead
    • Acts like a bodyguard nearby

Tips for New Players

  • Avoid fighting him early-game
  • Do not engage him in swamps unless well equipped
  • Getting a Shreksophone changes the encounter style
